Advocus was born out of a need to ensure that anyone who seeks medical care receives the optimal care they deserve. The purpose of Advocus is to advocate for those, who at certain times, can’t advocate for themselves, and we work to empower them. When you or your loved ones are ill, you should focus on getting better. Let us make sure you have what you need to regain your health.

We are that voice of clarity you need when you are drowning in medical jargon and procedures. Our focus is strictly on you and making sure all your concerns have been met. 

This is Patient-Driven care that ensures you are the in control of your health and your medical team. This means that you understand the recommendations from your doctors and are not just being told, “do this or take that” without knowing the reasons why. We work for you, and ensuring your optimal health is our passion!

Advocus believes that it is essential listen to what our clients want, take into account their values, and come out with a customized and specific plan to reach their optimal health. We believe that that you are the leader of your health and you should make the final decision. We assist you in taking your doctors recommendations and fitting them to your lifestyle or alter your lifestyle to meet those recommendations. 

2. eliminating the disparities in health. 

Health equity can be defined as having the opportunity to attain your optimal health. Some people are prevented from doing so by various reasons. A health disparity is a certain type of difference in health that is closely linked with social or economic disadvantages. We can measure how close we are to reaching health equity by tracking disparities. Advocus believe that disparities in health can be eliminated. We believe our Patient-Driven approach to healthcare can contribute to equitable health for all people.

3. Empowering our clients to take control of their health.

It is our ultimate goal for you to take charge of your health. We understand that its sometimes difficult to find the strength to wade through sea of information, especially if you or a family member are ill. We are here to assist you in reaching a level were you feel comfortable to navigate through a complex healthcare system. We are always available if you need someone to be your advocate.
